i do music things with my butterfly wings.

Superfruit “Future Friends”

These two fabulous men, who happen to be two fifths of the AMAZING a capella hit quintet, Pentatonix, created a masterpiece with this song. How it’s not playing everywhere right now is beyond me but, then again, it’s probably a good thing this song isn’t on the radio. It’s just too damn fantastic.

Also, check out their entire album because it’s one hell of an ear fuck, and I mean that in the best way possible.

UPDATE: Just heard the Brian Roberts Jones Choir Remix of this son and HOLY EXPLETIVES. You will actually feel holier after listening to it, trust me.

Starley “Call On Me” (Ryan Riback Remix)

Loving this new dance beat!

Clean Bandit f/ Louisa Johnson “Tears”

The chorus of this song reminds me of what early 2000’s dance songs sounded like – like something Reina or Jocelyn Enriquez would’ve released (OMG hello nostalgia!). I can see this becoming a hit.

Jonas Blue & Dakota “Fast Car”

I was looking for new dance music the other day and came across this gem. Upbeat versions of slow songs don’t always work (and they sometimes take away from the emotion behind the song) but I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this remix.

“We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” (Robin Schulz Remix)

Ella Eyre’s slowed-down cover of this song (originally by Jermaine Stewart) is my absolute favorite but this mix is perfect for the dance floor!

Adam Lambert “Ghost Town”

YES!!! Adam is back and he just gets me. Because my heart is also a ghost town these days. Actually, pretty much all the days…

Zedd “I Want You To Know” f/ Selena Gomez

Zedd is on another dimension. And I’m glad he’s sharing his musical goodies with all of us here on earth.

Duck Sauce “NRG”

I just want to dance every time I hear this jam. Would love Glee to cover this one.

Disclosure f/ Sam Smith “Latch”

Basically, everything Sam Smith touches turns to gold. This song isn’t new but I think it’s going to start being played EVERYWHERE now that it’s crossing over to the US. And rightly so. It’s hot!
