Pentatonix “Hallelujah”

Unless you do not have access to the internet or any form of media, you are aware of the general sense that 2016 was a shit year – and I completely agree. Let’s be real, we humans are screwing the pooch big time… It’s a new year now, though, which means it’s another chance to start over and try to be better and do the right thing. Whatever that means.

This cover of “Hallelujah” from Pentatonix is strikingly beautiful and raw. To me it epitomizes, in song, the light that can come from the recent darkness. The world has never been a perfect place but it’s still standing, even after the most desperate of times. And that’s something to sing about.
